started seeing Jane 32 years ago. Fred knew Mike from P&W. They played softball together at the PW Aircraft Club on a team called the LooseFits. Mike even then was a great Marketing man and suggested we meet Jane. Well it only took one haircut and were friends for life. Jane has been part of all the major events in our lives. A hair cut before each child was born, my son and daughters first haircuts in the booster chairs, Homecoming and Prom hair styles, wedding celebrations and now the only place our expected grandchild will come for his first cut is Jane. Also have enjoyed watching Jane & Mike’s Beautiful girls grow up to accomplished young women. Thanks for the many years of friendship!

Hair Today for approximately 10 years. You can never say that another salon can’t do a certain type of haircut or cut it as you like. But what I can say is, when I come to Hair Today I truly feel like I am among friends, and I know I am. My business is very much appreciated their and it shows in every way. town and needed a place that would first do haircuts for young kids- you were always so great with the kids. Then I needed a place, and then my husband, as we gave up our salons/barbers that were just too far away. The rest, as they say…. is History!

charity auction over 6 years ago and won a Hair Today Gift Basket. After meeting Jane and enjoying a haircut, I have been coming to Hair Today ever since. I always look forward to visiting Hair Today and leave with a smile. Always generous & Community involved!

through Mike. Steve & I relocated from Florida with Pratt & Whitney. He asked around and Mike said “my wife, Jane has a wonderful salon. Well, what can we say? We love Hair Today and Lois is a Great Stylist and person. She takes good care of our family and when we brought our son in when he was just a year old- he has been coming every 3 weeks since. Fifteen years of great service!

Southington, went by on Main Street and saw your sign, came in and made the appointments. We moved here in 1998- have been coming here ever since!

(1999), I played soccer in Marlborough and my jersey said Hair Today. I didn’t know where it was, but as I was roaming around Glastonbury I finally found the shop!

always drove by the salon. I’ve tried many salons in Glastonbury, and Hair Today is the best! Thee first time I came in, my stylist told me she swims at GHS. I had been life-guarding during the summer and my hair was a chlorine-soaked mess! Over the following few weeks, she and her mom came to my aqua fitness class. It is so lovely to feel you are part of a community when you come in here – and that’s why I will keep coming back. 🙂

at xxx, left. I had a friend who was coming to Hair Today, from Manchester & she was very particular about her appearance. I knew she wouldn’t go that far unless it was really worth it. So, I started with her stylist, Lori & was very happy with her & Hair Today. When Lori moved to Colorado to go to school, she referred me to Tina & I have been totally satisfied since then with Tina & the other stylists who took care of me when Tina had her sons.

I remember that I was really taken aback when I called for an appt. and couldn’t figure out a time I could make it. So, Jane said to me that she could come in early or stay late to accommodate me. It was such a nice thing for her to do. I knew from meeting her that this was a wonderful place to come for me and my boys!

& was looking for a hair stylist. Tried a few to no luck. One day I was having a manicure & was sitting next to a lady who had a hairstyle like mine. She told me that she went to Tina at Hair Today. I have been coming here ever since then. That was 7 or 8 years ago. Great salon & Tina is Great!

Pratt & Whitney and was driving around looking for a place to get a haircut. Previous places were a disaster with many lopsided cuts to my curly hair. Driving down Main St., I spotted Hair Today and was accepted as a Walk-In. Jane cut my hair and it looked great! Been coming here now for 30+ years. Have shared many stories with Jane as she was first to have two beautiful daughters, my two daughters came shortly thereafter. Through birth, school, boyfriends, and weddings, we’ve shared our daughter’s stories. Jane’s stories always help in knowing what life’s next episodes might be. Jane has always been a very dear friend.

about 4 years after I came here. My Mimi (Grandma) went to Lyn & I came w/ her and went to Bridget for my hair when I was just 17 (2003). I asked if you were hiring. You called me the next day-Sat & said to come in…. 13 years later, this is my Family! Xoxo

when my friend said that this is a great place to bring children. I brought Margaret when she was 5. She is now 32! I have been coming since then.

I belonged to a woman’s fitness club, The Active Woman, which was two doors down from Hair Today and that’s when I made my first appointment at the salon. Satisfied, I kept going back for my monthly haircuts. In July, 1982, I had a scheduled appointment. That particular day my regular stylist was out, but a new stylist had just started working their and said she wasn’t busy and had time to cut my hair. Her name was Jane, and she told me I was her first customer. The look on my face was probably a combination of shock and surprise because she quickly corrected herself and said I was her first customer at Hair Today, but had been a stylist for a number of years. While she cut my hair she explained that they (her and Mike) had recently moved back to CT. I was so pleased with the way she cut my hair that I decided Jane would be my stylist from then on. Since that day, we have been friends and have been through many happy and not so happy occasions. Over the last 33 years, she has cut not only my hair but my mom’s, both my sons, and even my husband’s at one time. This is the longest I have gone to one salon and am so glad I found the place so long ago. All the best to Jane, Mike and the Hair Today staff. Wishing you many more successful years!!
